The Indigenous Marathon Foundation Shirt represents the partnership between the Australian Army, Legacy and the Indigenous Marathon Foundation (IMF). Her goal for this piece was to capture the enduring strength of soldiers throughout time,  as both Warriors and Modern Day soldiers. They are always there, standing guard to protect our families,  our homes and our Country, but also to maintain peace, assist in times of crisis, and serve as a steady beacon of strength.

Run Army
Medal Rack

The distinctive shape of the Rising Sun badge, worn on the upturned side of a slouch hat, is commonly identified with the spirit of ANZAC. Proudly worn by soldiers of the 1st and 2nd Australian Imperial Force in both World Wars, the ‘Rising Sun’ badge has become an integral part of the digger tradition. Officially labelled the Australian Army Badge, it will, however, always be referred to as the Rising Sun Badge. There are seven patterns of the Rising Sun, which has evolved over time and today Australian Army soldiers wear the seventh pattern.

Run Army’s finisher medals are modelled on the Rising Sun Badge and will move through all seven patterns, starting from the latest, working backwards, to form a collectible set. They’ll then loop back to the start to allow new participants to collect all seven. Our new Medal Rack is a great way to display your collection and is now available on the merchandise page to order or can be purchased at the events in Brisbane and Townsville, unless sold out prior. Read more about the Rising Sun and see the seven patterns here: The Rising Sun badge | Australian Army
