Loved it! Great to see the vehicles, bands and uniformed members out looking good and showing the public the fabulous Australian Defence Force.
Run Army is a fun run promoting resilience, teamwork and endurance.
We invite the community to join us in recognising the ANZAC spirit and push themselves physically and mentally alongside current serving soldiers, and our First Responders from the Queensland Police, Queensland Ambulance and Queensland Fire and Emergency Services.
Run Army participants will run and walk 5km or 10km.
Participants will be able to choose a charity beneficiary, with $5 from their entry donated to their chosen service.
Generally dogs are not permitted in major fun runs due the tripping risk to the public. Having said that, Run Army is about community and if you are walking, you may bring one dog per person and start at the back of the pack. Any dog must be on a short lead, they are not permitted if running and you will be asked to move off the course. If your furry friend is aggressive or can’t walk on a short lead, please leave them at home.
NOTE: Dogs will not be allowed in recovery or food areas.
Run Army is an individual event, but you’re more than welcome to enter as a group with friends and family! Group entries are now available on the website.
Instructions: When you get to the entry portal, in the “Select Activity” drop down select “Groups,” and then either create your group or join an existing group.
